The territory of Tignale, part of the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano (a regional park) is distinguished by its environmental contrasts. Near the Lake, and because of its modifying influences, there is Mediterranean-type landscape and vegetation. Inland, where the mountains reach 1,500 metres above sea level, the scenery and vegetation resemble that of the Alps. For the tourist and the keen hiker this area offers a great variety of routes through diverse and interesting scenery. The following three walks are suitable for everyone, and serve as an introduction to the extraordinary beauty of our area.

The Ufficio Unico per Turismo (the tourist information office) organizes guided walks in Tignale - walks suitable for all which permit our visitors to discover the beauty of our area and to get to know the history and traditions of the places visited (information at the Ufficio Unico del Turismo, Via Europa 5, Gardola (tel. 0365 73354)

Visitors can also buy maps of Tignale with footpaths at the Ufficio Unico or at the Park Museum in Prabione.
