The route begins from Gardola . Follow the main road to Tremosine until you reach Natone (shrine 3 km. after the junction for Prabione), turn left here and follow the dirt road which isn’t difficult at the beginning. After 5 km. the gradient begins to be about 8 – 12 % (with a peak of 15% for the last km.). This gradient is constant until you arrive at Passo Scarpapè (1,242 m.a.s.l.=above sea level ). From here carry on to the left, pedalling straight towards south west, slightly downhill, on a good dirtroad. After a tunnel you arrive at Passo Ere where you need to turn left and follow the signs for Tignale. After 15 km. you reach Passo Segable after a brief, but demanding climb. Then you go rapidly downhill for 2 km. and then climb towards Rifugio Cima Piemp (an alpine refuge hut), which you reach after an easy climb (19 km.). From the Rifugio you go downhill along the asphalted road for 7 km. arriving first at Olzano and then at your starting point, Gardola .
